I LOVE YOU MOM!

As most of you already know, my mom passed away on Saturday October 11th, in her sleep. This has been devastating for our entire family. I have waited to post because I just don't know what to say. How do you put into words the sorrow one feels when you loose your mom? I have cried so many tears and feel that I can cry no more but then I talk to my dad or one of my sisters and the tears start to fall again. I love my mom! She is a wonderful woman who did so much for so many people. I think one of her greatest accomplishments was being a grandma! She was simply the best. I am so grateful that my kids have so many memories of " Grandma's big adventures". The kids love her so much and watching them grieve has just been terrible.
I do need to count my blessings......my parents came to spend Christmas with us last year. Mom helped me throw a Christmas Eve party with some neighbors. She made fudge, of course! We were very lucky to spend her favorite holiday together. She had called me just 2 days before she died and we talked on the phone for an hour about painting her office, chocolate fountains, Christmas presents, Alyssa's birthday and Tyler's Eagle project. I will treasure that final conversation forever! I love you Mom and I miss you more then I can say!

Oh my dear, sweet friend. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The death of a parent is so devistating, and the sorrow runs so deep. I am so, so sorry! I will keep you in my prayers.
