On the night of the 4th of July, our family along with some of David's family, were able to attend the Stadium of Fire. We have always wanted to go but it has never been something we felt we could spend the money on. This year Miley Cyrus was the main performer and David's brother and his family were coming from Georgia so we decided to go ahead and make this our year to go. The kids were all excited to say they have been to Stadium of Fire but Ashlee was beside herself with excitement!!! She LOVES Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus and this was just too much for her. She jumped and screamed the whole time. She actually lost her voice by the end and was squeaking instead of screaming.
I have to say that her reaction was worth the money! She loved it!!

I am not sure if she is squeaking or screaming in this photo but it reminds me of the old photos you see of young girls when the Beatles were big. It is just so funny to see how much they love these singers. Notice everyone around her is sitting down. Ashlee is still standing up and still screaming!
We actually had decent seats. We were about the 50 yd line and half way up the stadium but even then we could not see great. Miley is pretty small and the lights are so bright but I was able to get some pretty good photos of the big screens off to the side of the stage. She dances around a lot but in this photo she is singing a tribute to her grandpa so she is sitting still.
Ashlee and I towards the end of the concert.....we are hot and have a but of ash in our hair from all the fireworks but still happy to be there! You could only buy tickets in groups of 8 so we had to buy two different sets of tickets and spit up at the stadium. We decided to put the moms....Emmy, Kathy and I together with the girls that are big Miley Cyrus fan and the dads....Dave and Alex with all the older kids. It was nice to be with her cousins that shared the same excitement but I wish Dave could have see Ashlee's reaction. I believe this was probably the most exciting thing she has ever done!

Yeah I was with the wrong group! We were kind of boring. :) Of course I was with the sarcastic teens! So it was pretty entertaining listening to Ty, Alyssa and Olivia make their comments.
Ashley must have had so much FUN!! She looked really cute...love her outfit. I posted a cute shot of her and Annie on our blog from Lagoon.
That's awesome. I wish I could have gone with you guys, not that I care about Miley Cyres (isn't she Hannah Montana?) but just so I could see Ashlee!!!

Katelyn will be calling her soon. I told her that the "break" from each other is almost over.
She looks so darn cute!! Her hair and outfit are too adorable! I too don't understand the Hannah Montana (is she that or Miley Cyres or both or what??) but I am happy that Ashlee had such a great time!
