My sisters Natalie and Christie came to visit for the weekend......for no particular reason, just for fun! It was so great to have them around. On Friday night we went to the HS varsity football game. We played Timpview HS (Dave went to HS there) and they are the current state camps. Both teams are the only two undefeated teams in the league left. It was a great first half but someone had to loose and unfortunately it was us. DANG! We had a lot of fun though.
On Saturday we went to see Brandon play his football game. He had a great 10 yd run but the team ended up loosing. Not a great weekend for "wins" but a great weekend for "plays" Ty played on Thursday night and caught a SWEET 20 yd pass and ran in 30 yds for the touchdown. It was executed perfectly. I was jumping up and down and screaming like a crazy woman. (I LOVE football) Ty came home and said " Mom, I think you are more excited them I am!" FOR SURE!!!
Anyway, after Brandon's game..... at the crack of dawn, by the way...... we got ourselves ready and went out for an afternoon of window shopping. We actually didn't buy much at all but looking around was fun. Around here, Sat evening is "ladies night" since all the men are at the priesthood session of conference so there are lots of festive things going on at the stores. Tia Pan was our favorite. We looked around for an hour.....thinking a lot of mom..... and they fed us cookies and cupcakes. YUMMY.
Afterwards we went to Red Lobster for dinner. We talked the guy next to us into taking a photo....since the waiter pretty much ignored us. I don't think he liked us because we kept telling him to bring more then 3 rolls at a time. Good times.....good times.
We need to plan another weekend, this time with everyone!

love you!!!
ya, I bet that is true. Glad I had Mom's trusted fan available for you!
We need to start planning a weekend with all six of us. Didn't we decide every other year? So next year is the year! Jen.... get on it!
I will totally plan that! What are you all thinking....what time of year? Do you want to do the fall conference weekend? That way it is close to Mom's anniversary date? Or would you rather do a summer thing? Ohhhhhh, I am so excited!
