MY WITTY LITTLE BRANDON

OK, so I keep telling myself I am going to keep a journal and I am just not getting it all done. I sometimes feel like I have three different journals....one is my blog, one is in my room, an actual book, and one as my scrapbook pages. It seems that none of the three are being kept up and done correctly. I have decided that since I like to type more then I like to write, I am going to try to make my blog more meaningful so you will just have to endure the stories that may seem boring to you but are meaningful to me!

Yesterday was Brandon's birthday. We gave him his birthday present, a ripstick, the night before so he could ride it to school. Boy was he excited. He went out on Monday evening and spend an hour riding around....and took his first fall. He decided that elbow pads would be a good idea but that only lasted a short while. On Tuesday, he rode it to school and let his teacher try it out. I guess she was not very good! Brandon says it's because she wears heals to school. That would make it difficult. That afternoon, Tyler had a football game and Brandon came with us. I was worried that he would feel jipped that his birthday was spent at a football game for Tyler but the truth is, all he wanted to do was ripstick. So for two hours, that is what he did! On the way home we stopped at Cold Stone and go ice cream. He started getting phone calls from the family wishing him a happy birthday on our way home. Brandon is our funny, witty little one. He always has something smart to say and yesterday was no exception. When Aunt Emily asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he told her he wanted a dirt bike and needed $400. Emily said, " that's a lot of money. How are you going to get it?" Brandon, " Well, LEMONADE STAND!!!" He said it in a matter of fact, well duh, kind of way! He figured that he needed 400 customers and would sell each glass for $1 each. Now that is a lot of lemonade. What is really funny about this is that when mom reminds him that he cannot have a dirt bike as long as he lives at my house, he just says, "Well, I will just get it when I turn 18 and I am out of here." I am not sure if I should be upset about that??? He has a funny way of thinking sometimes. He also says he is not getting married because it costs too much money to get married and he wants an X-box 360. Oh Brandon. It will be interesting to see how he is in 10 years!

He is so darn cute! I can exactly see him telling you this, so I believe it to be so true! Getting married is expensive so he has quite a grip on reality!! Tell him Happy B-Day for us <3
