THINGS ABOUT ME

Since I do not have much to blog about right now, I decided to reply to Katie's tag. Here goes....

Where were you born? Phoenix, AZ

How old will you be this year? 37
Nicknames? Jenn, Jenny, JennyPenny
Are you taller than you mother or your father? I am not taller then dad but I am not sure about mom. I am 5'4"
Do you cry often during movies? Yes!! I try really hard to "swallow" it away but it never works
What is your biggest pet peeve? I hate being late to things and I hate others being late for an apt. with me. I know things happen but still....it really bugs me
Favorite Color? Overall....yellow! but I like pinks, browns, and reds to wear
Favorite Foods? Mexican, for sure! I LOVE mexican food.
Favorite Restaurants? Cafe Rio, Olive Garden,
Favorite Beverage? Milk and water
Favorite Smells? fabric softener, pumpkin candles, fresh cut grass, the ocean
Favorite time of day? I am with Katie, I like the late night. It is the only time Dave and I get alone, without the kids or the ward members needing something
What brand Shampoo/Conditioner do you use? Sleek or Head and Sholders-fresh. It helps my psorisis( is that how you spell it?)
Favorite make-up products? cream to powder foundation. That is all I usually wear except on Sundays and if I am going out to dinner or the temple.
How many pillows do you sleep with? 2
Do you play an instrument? No
Have you ever been skinny dipping? No
Did you play any sports in high school? I played volleyball in 7th grade, gymnastics in Jr. High (don't remember which year we had a team at south bonneville) I ran track through my senior year and of course cheerleading
What was the last movie you saw in the theatre? The bucket list
What is your favorite article of clothing? jeans and a loose fitting blouse, skirts
What is your dream vacation? Any vacation! Somewhere warm with lots of sun.
What was your first impression of your spouse? I was actually almost asleep when I met him so I thought he had a nice voice and he seemed nice but it was a month later that I really paid attention and I thought he was very polite. We were set up on a date....almost blind since I really did not remember who he was.
What is your favorite "me time" activity? long baths with a good book, massages, lunch with friends
Favorite TV shows? American Idol, Dancing with the Stars and Everybody Loves Raymond
What is your dream car? I am not really into cars. I really like my saturn relay
What is one of your weaknesses? I procrastinate way too much!
What do you fix for dinner when there is nothing to fix? spaghetti
If you could live in a different decade/era, which would it be? Little House on the Prairie days!
Do you consider yourself outgoing? I am not afraid of being in front of people...giving talks etc comes pretty easy but you won't catch me being the "life of the party" I am fine just sitting quietly with those I already know
What is something you're constantly working on? LAUNDRY!
Any hiddens talents. No, not really
What is a word or phrase you overuse? idiot....that is my word for all the stupid drivers on the road and any other thing that bugs me
What is the hardest thing that happened to you this past year? putting together a funeral for two stillborn babies in my ward. It was very sad.
What is the best thing that happened to you this past year? I'd say the family reunion. I love being with all my sisters
What is one thing you hope to accomplish this year. finish all the "little things" in our basement....doorknobs, window sils, etc
The best piece of advice you learned this past year? Let other people help out. You don't have to do everything for everyone all the time. I have been sick a lot the past 2 months and I have had to let other help me. It has been a good lesson!

I like your piece of advice. I try to live by that as well and let others help out. It's not an easy thing to do but I know it's worth it.

"blouse"...you must be getting old. :) I think your hidden talent is probably cooking/baking, although maybe that's not hidden.
