NEEDING A NEW LOOK

I am on the look out for new make up and skin care. I need a change and I just don't like the way mine is working anymore. Any suggestions for skin that is very dry in the winter and very oily in the summer? I need a foundation that does not settle into the fine lines that have taken over my face and a moisturizer that has sunscreen in it since I swim several times a week all summer. Help!

Hmmm... I switched to the mineral/powder makeups a couple of years ago at the suggestion of my daughter. I really like the brand I use (Bare Escentuals), but I don't know about recommending it because everyone's so different! One reason I like it is it's very quick, and it's totally plane-proof! (No liquids to check...) My niece works at Kohl's and says their mineral based makeup is awesome - but I've not tried it. Good luck!!

There is a store near by(called ULTA) that sales Bare Essential mineral make up. This is the #1 leading brand. It is AMAZING! I feel like I am wearing no make-up at all, but have FULL coverage. You can go to the store and they will do your whole face for you. That way you can see how it feels and see if you like it. They sale an intro pack that comes with 4 powders and 3 brushes, it's everything you need. It costs about 50 bucks(the best 50 bucks you will ever spend). They have a 60 day money back guarantee as well. Normally you would have to sign up for a club program with Bare Mineral, but this way you can buy just what you need. I bought the intro pack at christmas time and I have just now run out of only ONE of the things I use. It will only cost about 10 bucks to replace it. It actually costs ledd for me to use this make-up, than the foundation I used before. And yes, it's great for all skin types. I think you'd love it. Call me and I'll tell you more!

Correction-I called the make-up Bare Essentials in the beginning of the comment, and Bare Mineral later in the comment. It is Bare Minerals-I must have had essentials on the mind from reading the previous comment.

Jenn, I have been using Aveda face wash/products...see the trend with me...and I love it! I use their wash and exfoliant and then I use a moisturizer that helps with blemishes and I feel my skin has cleared up so much. Not that you need that, but it always helps. I do know they have an awesome moisturizer that has spf in it because the gal told me all about it and how great it it. I am all about Aveda! Oh, and the same gal (she was an estitition...I have no idea how to spell that...) said to use the Bare Escentuals make-up. I don't know if there is much diff. between it and the Bare Minerals except for cost. But, I know I am going to look into both.

I have used DOVE sensitive soap for the past 13 yrs and oil of olay moisturizer. I have been very lucky and it's worked really well. I think I have the cheapest face wash out there. Luckily my skin is not oily. Try this for a week and see what happens.
I use mineral/powder as well called bellapierre. I get it at our mall. I think most of them are the same.

Let me know what you decide. I'm in the market too! But I hate to spend a lot of money on makeup, then not like it.
