I LOVE YOU NAT!

My sister, Natalie, and her family came down to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with us. We had such a good time! I am not a big shopper. Don't get me wrong, I love to shop but I like to do it fast....not the all day thing. I have not done Black Friday shopping since my kids were little. There is just nothing worth giving up my sleep! Anyway, Nat wanted to go so I agreed as long as we waited until 9AM. I am sure there are those of you out there that are saying,"you miss all the good deals" Let me tell you, there was not one thing in the add that we wanted that we missed by waiting until 9AM so I think we got the better "deal".....sleep and door busters! Dad even came with us. We had a really good time. I actually enjoy "people watching" the most. I am telling you, some of you are nuts on black Friday and it's funny to watch. The next day, Nat and I went out, just the two of us. She wanted to see some of the shops they don't have where she lives. We went to Thanksgiving point, Rod Works, and IKEA. Can I tell you, I don't really like IKEA. Too much stuff to see. That is the kind of store you need to go into for something specific, get it and leave! Nat had never been there so we walked around for 2 hours! 2 hours. That is just crazy! I probably won't go back until she drags me there next year! We really did have a great time. We actually spent the day with all my sisters as we were on the phone with everyone except Christie (who was stuck working) Thank goodness for cell phones. Thanks for coming down Nat! I love you!

Black Friday shoppers are CRAZY! I shall forever pay too much for things before getting up at the crack of dawn to save 45 cents! However...IKEA ROCKS! I love that place. You might say my house kinda looks like IKEA spit up on it....is that gross to say?

We did have fun and IKEA ROCKED...just give me a few thousand dollars to blow. Thanks for going shopping, although we didn't buy much it was fun to go places that Mom would have. Also, thanks for having us over and putting up with the drama of Kaytee, Annie and Ashley.

I skipped the craze this year and went to Island Park. I can't believe how big your kids are and by the way, you're much to young for teenagers Yikes!!! I'm glad you got some deals for me, hubbie even said he was proud of me for not wanting to stay home. Hope your Christmas is great, and love those sisters of yours, because sisters are the best.

How can you not love IKEA?? When it comes to baskets and frames you can't find anything cheaper. And the little 50 cent bowls are my favorite for ice cream...and if they break, hey - they were only 50cents! Amen on the Black Friday though ;)
