#2 WORDS TO LIVE BY

WHAT WORDS DO YOU LIVE BY? HOW DO YOUR ACTIONS SHOW WHAT YOU VALUE?

I love quotes....I have them all over my house. I guess you could say that my favorite quotes are the words I live by.

In my kitchen, along the longest wall in the room is says "Together is a wonderful place to be."

I truly believe this. I have a wonderful family, both my immediate family and my extended family. My most memorable time are when we are all together. I especially love the times at the dinner table. It is dinnertime that we learn the most about our kids. We talk about the day, we discuss the upcoming activities, we laugh and joke with each other. We have a lot of extended family gatherings that center around a kitchen table. Have you ever noticed how people feel free to say whatever they are thinking while eating?

In the living room I have a tile that says, "When life gets to be more then you can stand....KNEEL" This has proven to be so very true. I know that I am not alone! I know that I cannot do things on my own and when I try, I usually either fail or do a poor job. When I turn to my Heavenly Father, I am always more successful in my efforts! I have had to learn this lesson the hard way!

My favorite scripture, and my guiding light through my life is found in Phillipians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me." There is no truer words spoken, as far as I am concerned. I read this scripture for the first time when I was 16 years old and I always turn to it when I need to be comforted or lifted up. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and will give me the strength to do all that He has asked of me!

You are a bloggin fool, good job for doing this. I love this poast because your're right on so many levels. We learn the most about our kids around the table. I also love a good quote two of my favorites are:
"Life is not measured by the breath we take but by the moments that that our breath away"
&
Who knows but that something wonderful may happen today. Have faith that it will. After all, every morning is a chance at a new day. Marjorie Hinkley(I think)
